I really hope I do well in this exam tomorow. My goal is to get 100% . Sounds kinda improbable especially for me, but well been studying quite a bit.

I'm at my new place now. I'm staying in a house next to my college, 30 second walk to be exact. So far I think it's alright lar, except for maybe that the house isn't that well maintained and is abit old. But then again, $420 a month is a great deal, with cable tv and cable internet provided. I miss my old room though, cuz this room now's just a bit smaller. Well gotta thank my uncle for being so nice to help me move my stuff. Took about 2 trips to completely move my stuff and half a day. Well, moving sucks when you live on the third floor of the apartment. Well at least this time I'm moving OUT of my third floor apartment so just had to carry tables, bed, chairs and stuff down the staircase. I still remember how exhausting it was when my (ex) roommates and I moved into that apartment. Had to carry stuff up 2 flights of stairs to the third floor. Wonder if the apartment manager ever thought of elevators?

Woke up late today. Well late, but not late for school. Just late. Slept at 11.00pm last night after watching ER, and I set my alarm clock at 4.30am. When I woke up it was already 7.30am, and somehow my alarm clocks went off and I shut them up without even myself realizing. Well if it wasn't for Julia giving me a miss call this morning I probably would have woken up later than 7.30am. Thanks dear :)

So I woke up, talked to Julia for a while on the phone, then went off to college. In a weeks or so time when I've moved into my new place, I won't have to wake up so early again cuz the college's just a 30 second walk from my new place :)

Math class just now was okay. Midterm's on Monday so today was kind of a review class. People here are nice, well some people. There's this student Chad who made an announcement before the class started and asked if anyone wanted to group study he'll be holding one at his house on Sunday, from 12 noon till 6pm, and he'll provide pizza and drinks. Everyone's invited. I wanna go, but it's far away, and since I don't have a car to drive I don't know how I can get there. Oh well. I kinda prefer studying alone anyway, cuz past experiences with group study always results in distraction or a chatting session instead of studying =p

Listening to Live365 now. My fav radio station so far's this one : Click to listen!. All the songs I lieeeek. Can just sit down and listen n get dreamy with the songs n relax. *siiighhhH* =)

I doonooo wutt to doooooo. I have a 3 hour break today instead of the usual 2 hours cuz today I don't have my C++ class which only runs Monday to Thursday and today's Fri. So every Friday I have 3 hours break, and the rest of the days 2 hours break. Not exactly nice to have such long breaks, though those whose schedules lack in breaks would envy the breaks I have. Guess that's human nature eh? What you don't have you want, what you have too much you dont want anymore. Heh.

Weekend's here finally. Not exactly gonna be relaxing weekend for me. Math midterm on Monday and Physics quiz on Monday. There's also Physics lab on Monday after class which means I'll be staying in college on Monday till 5pm. Most likely there's gonna be a Physics lab quiz too. So, yea, I'm stressed, especially when I'm someone who's not good at Physics. Ugh. I think I know whats wrong with me when it comes to Physics/Math or any of those subjects that have problem solving/applied stuff - I'm slow. Like in physics, I can do the homework problems in the book but I take a long time to understand the problem and work it out. I understand the basic concepts lar but just applying it to problems is what I have trouble with. In a quiz, you only have 5 minutes, one question. In a midterm, there's only 50 minutes, 4-5 questions. Add in the 'panic' factor when taking exams. My point is, well, I can do the questions in the exams and quizzes, but there just isn't enough time. Well it is enough lar for some or most people, but I'm not like them. I take like at least 15 minutes for one problem. If quizzes were 15 minutes and exams were 2 hours, I could definitely do well in them. But then again, I can't complain can I? This is how it works and yea, no one said studying was easy, oh well :
I wish I had a talent in the arts, like music, drawing, or something that doesn't involve sciences. Hehe.

Eiyerrr... that bad dream from a few days ago still haunts me. One of the dreams that I probably won't forget so easily. Sucks when the dreams you can't forget are your bad dreams :P I dreamt I was shot in the back of my neck, it felt like a near death experience, I mean it felt so real. Many other things happened in the dream but I'm not gonna go on, not in my blog at least =p

Yesterday in the bus back from college, this guy was talking to this girl, and the girl, being only 21, is already married. I mean, wow. 21. married. So younnngggg. Don't know if its a good thing or a bad thing or neither, to marry so young. I would think its not that good of a thing, since at that age both side's probably still studying or not have a good steady income foundation to support themselves. I think its a bit weird to be married but still be dependent on parents for support. Oh well, speaking of marriages, lots of gay couples here in San Francisco getting married. I'm not sure why all of a sudden gay couples around the country's flocking to San Francisco city hall to get married. Maybe the SF city hall just started giving out marriage licenses to gay couples. So far about 3000 gay couples have been married since last week. That's like, a huuuuge lot. Its funny, cuz California state law says it's illegal to give gays marriage licenses, but SF's kinda challenging the state about it lar, saying its legal to do so, and just like other straight couples, gay couples should be given equal protection and rights too under the constitution. Personally, I don't have anything against gays. I don't think they're weird or what. I mean, thats their sexual orientation so how does that differ from us having our own sexual orientation that's straight? Kinda unfair to prejudice against them is it? Well then again not everyone has an open mind about it. Touchy subject.

there sweetie, built a sketch specs for a pc for you. :) I think if its still too much then should still be able to bring price down to RM 1850 - RM 2000 if you don't need much performance for your PC. To get a PC for RM2000 and below quite difficult, especially if you need a monitor, which costs about 350+. But I doubt you have a monitor ledi. Hehe :)

But then again, if u buy parts sepereately you gotta assemble the parts yourself. Hehe. And amazingly, I checked computer parts prices in Malaysia and from the site I got the prices from, and all of them are about the same, though most of the prices in US cheaper, even after converting :)

Just had salad/fruits without dressing and a bowl of potato cheddar soup for lunch. Not that I'm trying to go on a diet, well having potato cheddar justifies that :), but that I haven't really been eating healthy meals the past few days, past 2 weeks actually. Been having microwave TV dinners, honey roasted peanuts, bread with peanut butter/strawberry jam, instant noodles, well basically junk food. Oh well.

And for the first time in two weeks I feel refreshed and not sleepy during my classes today. I think for the past week or more I've been reallllly sleepy during my morning classes. Well, I had a long weekend holiday (Friday - Monday), and I think I slept most of the days. Yesterday alone I slept more than 12 hours total. Yea I'm a pig. L A Z Y.

Sis' having a bit of problems with her bf, just hope things resolve well for her. Sometimes I feel like the advice I give is bad advice or something, especially since we haven't really had a real conversation or caught up with each other for a long time. *shrugs*

Physics class in half n hour. Doing badly in physics =\ Not gonna complain, whine or anything, just gonna do my best in it and well what I get is what I deserve.

It's Valentine's night. It's also our 2 month anniversary. The person I wanna spend tonight with's so far away, yet so close here in my heart. It's not fair! My roommate's and their bf/gf get to spend today together, think all of them slept over last night. So jealous :P Well who said long distance relationship was easy? Its funny how the number 14's kinda significant in our relationship. Dec 14th's my bday, it's also the day we both got together. And Valentine's on the 14th of Feb. And 3 years ago on this same day (14th Feb 2001) I sorta lost hope in love. Well those close to me would know :) Anddddd, if Julia got born one day later, her birthday would be on May 14th. Anyyywayyyy, this weekend's gonna be reaaaal long. Friday was a holiday, monday will be a holiday too. They call it "President's Day Weekend". Well 4 days holidayy! I'm not complaining though :) Don't think there's gonna be any more holidays till the quarter ends. Eiyerrrrr. Another Physics quiz this coming Thursday. This time on 2 chapters. Math quiz's probably either Tuesday or Wednesday too. Well status update on all my classes : Physics - probably get a C. Math - hopefully I can get an A, but I'll have to study a lot more from now on. Salvagable. C++ - Most likely an A. My strongest subject this quarter. *doh* I wouldn't be doing comp sci if programming ain't my strongest subject. Oh well, seems like this weekend's not really gonna be totally relaxing, selamba holidaying. I wish I was like certain people who can just sit down and study all the way through few hours. Max is 1 hour for me, then I'm either off to the comp or doing something else.

Oooh and I got my Christmas pressie from my dearest on Tuesday. I was kinda surprised I got it so soon (not sarcastically soon) cuz she sent it using Pos Laju on Saturday. And it took 3 days to arrive? Wow. I sent my darling a V-day gift one week before V-day using Express Mail (supposedly3-5 days delivery time)and it hasn't arrived yet. What the hell. And I thought Pos Laju was slow. :P oh well =\ Why didn't I send by Fed Ex or UPS? Cuz they cost 50 bucks, or more. Yes 50 U S D , not RM =
I'm so hungry. I realize I've been getting hungry a lot these few days. Don't know if its the stress or what. Nothing much to eat at home, probably gonna microwave some TV dinners or have bread with Goober's Peanut Butter&Strawberry spread. Eh, did I mention I'm gonna move out of my apartment end of this month? Uncle's gonna help me move. He has a van. Hopefully the van's good enough so I don't have to rent a moving truck and thus save $19.99. I'm gonna miss my current apartment. Really nice but pricey (700$ a month), and it's just opposite Cupertino Village ( the area of chinese shops and restaurants and market just opposite my apartment ). I'm gonna be moving to a room in a house, and it costs about 420$ excluding electricity. Good thing is that it costs a lot less than my current apartment, and there's cable internet and cable TV already provided. Cable tv!!!!! Won't need to download any more TV series off the Internet =p Oh and that house's just next to the college. Yeap. Right NEXT to the college. Walk across the street and I'll reach the college. Won't need to take any more buses or walk long distances to and fro bus stops. Yay!! Get to wake up later too. Hehe. Best thing yet is, there's gonna be a Starbucks opening very soon right behind the house. Eiyerrrrr can't wait to move in there, and can't wait for the Starbucks to open!!!

Okay been spending a lot of time on the comp. I promised my self I would study tonight and I will. Seems like these few days there's been little determination in me to make myself study. I better wake up and get back on track with my studies or elseee... =\ I'm getting myself an ATI Radeon 9800 video card if I manage to get an A in Math and an A in my c++ class this quarter. I guess that's self-motivating to study :)
